A name or place submitted through a search box goes directly to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. McCreary County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It stays within the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.

McCreary County Criminal History does not compile, keep, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies request routes through the sheriff, McCreary Circuit Court Clerk, Kentucky State Police Criminal Identification and Records Branch, and Kentucky Sex Offender Registry. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into reports about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy terms govern anything entered there, including how long they keep information and when they share it. Review the selected provider's policy before submitting a query because those choices are beyond this site's control.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to courts, the sheriff, Kentucky agencies, legal-aid resources, or commercial search services. Once a visitor follows one, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read those terms before providing personal information.
Some advertising providers may measure activity across websites for targeted advertising. That processing takes place on the provider's system.
